Student Visa for Russia
International students seeking to study in Russia need to get a student visa. After receiving the acceptance letter from the university they have applied to, they need to get a student visa to attend the university and continue their studies.
Student visas can be valid for up to 90 days and can be issued for single or double entry. The visa’s validity dates will correspond with the dates mentioned in your letter of invitation issued by a Russian Federal Migration Service agency or a telex from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
How to Get a Student Visa for Russia?
To get a Russia student visa, applicants must submit certain documents and complete the application form.
A passport should be valid for a minimum of six months after the visa’s expiration date and have at least 2 blank pages, which do not need to be consecutive.
One recent passport-size photo.
Invitation issued to the student by the Russian Federal Migration Service agency or the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The candidate needs to submit the HIV Test (AIDS) Certificate taken within the last three months. The HIV Test (AIDS) Certificate should still be valid for 15-30 days from the day of your application.
Medical insurance coverage should be valid in Russia.
